WHO ARE WE

The Canton Arts Council (CAC), was formed to support, connect and promote the thriving, but dispersed art community in Canton.

(Connecting Artists with the Community)

Purpose: To inspire and support the arts. To nurture, through the arts, the economic, educational and cultural development of Canton.

Vision: To make Canton an arts destination and ensure that the arts are recognized, valued, promoted and realized as a means to enhance the quality of life and economic vitality of our community.

REASONS TO SUPPORT THE ARTS

Arts:

drive tourism and revenue to local businesses,
strengthen the economy,
improve academic performance,
unify communities,
improve individual well-being,
spark creativity and innovation,
drive the creative industries and
have social impact.
